There is no current council-published population figure for Arlesey on its own, so here is what is published instead. Central Bedfordshire adopted a masterplan for Arlesey Cross at its Executive on 18 March 2014, covering two sites either side of the High Street, allocated under policy MA8 of the 2011 Site Allocations Document, which requires a minimum of 1,000 new homes along with employment space, a new school and other amenities. Arlesey’s post town is Arlesey, SG15, and the town is in Bedfordshire despite sitting in the SG postcode area most people associate with Hertfordshire. Every Arlesey registered office we checked reads Arlesey, Bedfordshire. A business that gets this wrong is advertising into the wrong village and the wrong council area.
