AI SEO Services
Get found in ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews
When someone asks ChatGPT which agency to use, one or two names come back. The rest may as well not exist. AI SEO is the work that gets you into that shortlist, and it is not the same job as ranking on Google.
From £749 per month, built into an SEO & AI package. No separate GEO invoice.
- Buying-intent prompts run across ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity
- Who gets named instead of you, and why
- A straight read on what is stopping you. No hard sell.
Four quick answers and we will check whether AI tools currently name you.
Search stopped being a list of links
Your customers still search. They just do not always see ten blue links any more.
They see an AI Overview that answers the question outright. They ask ChatGPT which supplier to use. They check Perplexity and get three names with citations next to them.
In every one of those cases, something has been chosen on your behalf. If it is not you, you never find out you were in the running. There is no impression count for the recommendation you did not get.
How AI tools decide who to quote
Nobody outside the labs knows the exact mechanics, and anyone selling you certainty is guessing. What is observable, repeatedly, is that four things have to be true.
They have to find you
AI answers are built from what has been crawled and indexed. If your pages are slow, blocked, thin or duplicated, you are not in the pool being drawn from.
They have to understand you
Vague positioning that a human can decode from context gets skipped by a machine that cannot. If your homepage says you deliver growth solutions, you will lose to the firm whose page says it does PPC for dental practices in Berkshire.
They have to trust you
Your name, address, phone number and service list need to match everywhere they appear. Contradictions across your site, your Google Business Profile and third party listings are a reason to leave you out.
They have to be able to lift a clean answer
Content that only makes sense read in full does not survive being summarised. Pages that answer a question directly, near the top, in plain language, get quoted. Pages that bury the answer under six paragraphs of preamble do not.

What we do about it
None of this is mystical. It is mostly SEO services delivered to a higher standard, plus a few things traditional SEO never bothered with.
- Fix whatever is stopping you being crawled, indexed and understood
- Rewrite service pages so they say plainly what you do, who for, and where
- Build direct answers to the questions buyers ask in the fortnight before they buy
- Get your name, address, phone and services identical across every listing that mentions you
- Add schema where it earns its place, not on everything for the sake of it
- Earn mentions on the roundups, directories and comparison pages AI tools lean on
- Connect related pages with internal links so your expertise reads as a body of work rather than scattered posts

How you will know if it is working
This is where most AI SEO pitches go quiet, so here is the honest version.
There is no Search Console for ChatGPT. Nobody can hand you a rank tracker for AI answers and call it precise, and any agency showing you a confident AI visibility score has invented the number. What you can do is check the same things, the same way, every month.
- We run a fixed set of buying-intent prompts across ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Google AI Mode. The same prompts each month, so the comparison means something
- We record whether you get named, how you get described, and who gets named instead of you
- We track AI Overview appearances for your target queries
- We watch referral traffic from AI tools in analytics. The numbers are small, but they are real and they are growing
- We report the movement honestly, including the months where nothing moves
You get the prompts we used and the raw answers we got back, so you can check our working. Not a dashboard with a score on it.
GEO, AEO and LLM SEO: one job, six names
You will see this work sold under half a dozen labels, and the label usually tells you more about the agency than the service.
Generative engine optimisation, or GEO, is where the industry has mostly landed. Answer engine optimisation, or AEO, is the same idea framed around answer boxes and voice results. LLM SEO is what you get when someone wants to sound technical. AI search optimisation and AI visibility are the plain English versions. AI SEO is what most people type into Google when they go looking for help.
All six describe one job: making your business easy for a machine to find, understand, trust and repeat back to someone who asked for a recommendation.
Some agencies price generative engine optimisation as a separate product stacked on top of your SEO retainer. We do not, because there is no separate work to bill for. If you have been quoted for GEO and AEO as two line items, ask what is genuinely different between them.
AI Overviews are where this starts paying
Of everything flying under the AI search banner, Google AI Overviews are the one with real volume behind them today. They sit above the organic results, they answer the question outright, and they cite a handful of sources.
The useful thing about AI Overviews SEO is that it tracks fairly closely to normal rankings. Pages already sitting in the top ten are the pool Google draws from, so the work that earns you a citation is mostly work that helps your ordinary rankings too. You are not choosing between the two.
ChatGPT SEO, if you want to call it that, is the longer game. ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity lean more heavily on what other sites say about you than on what your own site says, so getting named there depends on mentions we have to earn rather than switches we can flip.

Who this is for
You will get the most out of this if you sell something with a considered purchase behind it, where people research before they buy, and where being one of two or three names mentioned is worth real money to you.
You will get very little out of it if you want a guarantee, if you will not change anything on the site, or if you expect AI search to replace the work rather than sit on top of it. We would rather say that now than three months in.
What it costs
AI SEO is not sold separately here, because it does not work separately. It is one of our SEO packages with the AI search work built in as defined monthly output, from £749 per month.
You get the prompt testing, the visibility reporting, and the page work that feeds both. No separate GEO invoice.
AI SEO FAQs
Slower than anyone selling it would like you to believe. You may see movement in AI Overviews within weeks if the fixes are obvious, because those track fairly closely to normal rankings. Getting named consistently in ChatGPT or Perplexity usually takes months, because it depends partly on mentions elsewhere that we have to earn rather than switch on.
No, and neither can anyone else. The models change, the retrieval changes, and nobody outside the labs controls what gets quoted. What we can do is make you a far more likely candidate and then check, every month, whether it is happening.
It overlaps heavily with ordinary search engine optimisation services. Good SEO is most of good AI SEO, which is why we will not sell you a separate product. The genuinely additional work is the consistency of your details across the web, answering buyer questions directly rather than at length, earning mentions on the pages AI tools cite, and the monthly prompt testing that tells you where you stand.
Often more than for a big one. Ask an AI tool for a plumber in Marlow or an accountant in Amersham and it will name a handful of firms. That shortlist is short, the competition for it is thin, and most local businesses have done nothing about it.
Then you are starting from a good place, because the foundations are already doing their job. The gap is usually consistency of information and the absence of direct answers on your pages. That is a smaller piece of work, and worth doing before your competitors get to it.
