Waverley Borough Council publishes no current town-level population for Cranleigh, and the official figures in circulation disagree: the Neighbourhood Plan says 11,500 including Rowly, and the Parish Council’s business plan says approximately 12,500. The borough stood at 128,200 at the 2021 Census, up 5.5 per cent on 2011.
