Privacy Policy

Last updated: 29 July 2026. This policy explains what information FlyPost Marketing collects through this website, why we collect it, and what your rights are. Plain English, no legal waffle.

Who we are

FlyPost Marketing (“we”, “us”) is a UK-based digital marketing agency and the data controller for information collected through flypostmarketing.com. For anything data-related, email us at hello@flypostmarketing.com.

What we collect and why

Enquiry forms. When you send an enquiry (contact form, free website review, or custom package form) we collect what you type in: typically your name, company name, email address, website URL and your message. We use it to reply to you and, if you become a client, to deliver the work. Legal basis: legitimate interest in responding to enquiries you have chosen to send us.

Newsletter. If you sign up, we store your email address and use it to send you the newsletter. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.

How you found us. When you send an enquiry we also record how you arrived here: the page you first landed on, the site or search engine that referred you, and any campaign tags in the link you clicked (for example, a specific email or social post). We store this next to your enquiry so we can tell which of our marketing actually helps people find us. It includes a Google Analytics identifier, which is a random number given to your browser rather than anything with your name on it, but because we keep it alongside your enquiry we treat it as personal data. Legal basis: legitimate interest in understanding which marketing works. This is only collected if you accept analytics cookies. If you decline, we record that you declined and store nothing else.

Analytics and session recording. We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Search Console to understand how the site is used, things like which pages people visit, how they found us, and where they get stuck. We also use Microsoft Clarity, which records playbacks of site visits including mouse movement, clicks and scrolling, so we can see where a page confuses people. Clarity masks text you type into forms and we do not use it to identify individuals. None of this runs unless you accept analytics cookies through the consent banner (CookieYes).

Where your data lives

Form submissions and newsletter signups are stored in this website’s database, hosted on Hostinger servers. Enquiry emails also arrive in our business inbox. We also copy enquiry details, including the “how you found us” information above, into a private Google Sheet so we can track which marketing brings in real work. That sheet is restricted to us. We do not sell your data, full stop.

Third parties we use

  • Hostinger (website hosting)
  • Google (Analytics, Search Console, Google Workspace and Google Sheets)
  • Microsoft Clarity (session recording and usage analytics)
  • CookieYes (cookie consent management)

Each of these processes limited data on our behalf under their own privacy terms. We do not share your enquiry details with anyone else unless legally required.

How long we keep it

Enquiry submissions are kept for up to 24 months so we have context if you come back, then deleted. The “how you found us” information is deleted at the same time as the enquiry it belongs to, including the copy held in our Google Sheet. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data follows the retention settings of the tools above.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask us to access, correct, delete or stop processing your data, and you can withdraw consent at any time. Email hello@flypostmarketing.com and we will sort it, usually within a few days and always within a month. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to make the site work and optional analytics cookies (GA4, Clarity) that only load if you accept them via the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time through the cookie settings link in the banner.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the date at the top. No sneaky edits.
